1. Validate the idea aka see if people will actually shell out $$ for your thing. Talk to your ideal client and see what they say. Super important: actually listen to what they say.
2. Grow your audience for 3 to 6 months first. 
Here you have 3 options to grow: 
 - organically through content. Ex: live streaming video, podcast, run a challenge, etc.
 - borrow aka bring on affiliates. Give people a slice of the pie in exchange for them helping you grow.
 - buy aka pay for ads to speed up the process.
3. Start with a smaller, more expensive offer. 
4. Do a soft launch. Get a small group of people into the first version of your membership to test shit out and get their feedback/testimonials.
5. Start out free. Use it to get people on your email list while you grow and tweak things.
